take a tour of the city and visit the archaeological Museum
of Momia Juanita (Mummy Juanita), who was sacrificed as a
gift to the Ampato volcano. The Mummy Juanita is considered
to be the best preserved pre-Hispanic human remains found in

DAY
02 : COLCA CANYON B/-/-
At 7:30 a.m., we will depart for the town of Chivay passing
along the very bottom of the Chachani volcano. We will visit
Pampas de Arrieros, Pampas Cañahuas, the National Reserve of
Aguada Blanca, Vizcachani, Pampas de Troca, Patapampa and
the Mirador de los Andes (Andean viewpoint) and return to
Chivay at the end ofthe day. In the evening, we will visit
the thermal baths of Limekiln. Lodging.
Return to Arequipa city.
DAY
03: COLCA CANYON - AREQUIPA B/-/-
Early in the morning, we will travel to Cruz
del Cóndor, visiting the towns of Yanque, Maca, and Pinchollo
along the way, as well as the viewpoints of Choquetico,
Antahuilque, the Pre-Inca Cemetery (hanging tombs), the Petro
Maqueta and the Pre-Inca irrigation system and agricultural
terraces. In the afternoon, we will return to Arequipa.
