DIA 01: TOUR IN CUSCO B/-/- |
Arrival and transfer to the hotel.
A
welcome reception at the hotel with a refreshing cup of coca
tea. In the evening, we will visit the main tourist
attractions of Cusco: the Cathedral, Qorikancha,
Sacsayhuaman, Q'enqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay. Lodging. |

DIA 02:
CUSCO- kM82-HUAYLLABAMBA B/L/D |
At approximately 6:30 a.m. we will travel by private van to
Kilometer-82, which is the head of the Inca Trail. We will
meet our guide, porters, and pick-up our hiking and camping
gear. At approximately 10:30 a.m., we will begin our trek
along the Urubamba River and arrive at Llactapata and have
lunch. From this point, we will leave the shores of the
Urubamba River and continue through the valley of the
Kusichaca River, finally arriving at our first campsite in
the town of Wayllabamba. Camping.

DIA 03:
HUAYLLABAMBA -
PACAYMAYO B/L/D |
|
We
will continue our adventure with a steep ascent that will take
us to the tropical forests of the Llulluchayoc Valley. We will
arrive at Warmihuañusca (4200 m.a.s.l.) where there is a
wonderful panoramic view. After lunch, we will commence our
downhill trek to the pacaymayo Valley where will make camp for
the night. Camping. |

DIA 04:
PACAYMAYO
- WIÑAYHUAYNA B/L/D |
|
Very
early in the morning, after only a 30 minute hike, we will
arrive at the Runcuraccay archaeological complex. We will trek
around the Vilcabamba mountain range via the Inca Trail, which
in this section is paved completely in stone and is up to 2
meters wide, We will pass through an Inca short cut to descend
in the direction of Yanacocha, a dry lagoon, and finally onward
to Sayajmarca. Along the way, we will pass by a beautiful
forest, walk through a tunnel, and arrive at the archaeological
complex of Phuyupatamarca. From there, we will descend to the
ruins of Wiñaywayna where we will make camp for our last night
on the Trail. Camping. |

DIA 05:
WIÑAYHUAYNA – MACHU PICCHU B/-/- |
|
Very
early in the morning, we will continue our trek to Inti Punku
(Gateway of the Sun), from where we will be able to appreciate,
in all its magnificence, the greatest archaeological discovery
of modern times: Machupicchu the lost cay of the Incas. We will
have a professionally guided visit of the Machupicchu sanctuary,
and then later in the afternoon we will return to Cusco by
train. Lodging.
